Coccydynia, pain and inflammation of the coccyx, is common after a slip and fall, childbirth, or even in chronically constipated individuals. This pain can be unrelenting and last for years and even decades if left untreated. Unfortunately, coccyx pain can be challenging to treat with simply a donut pillow and anti-inflammatory medication which is commonly ineffective.
